I garner inspiration from the sensuous lines of Art Deco haute couture, classic silhouettes of sleek sophistication. Imagine the 1930s era of Hollywood beauty queens, the Chrysler Building and the Duesenberg. Style and craftsmanship reigned supreme, nurturing the creation of a product solely for its beauty. That is Octavine Illustration. I craft fonts and images which are completely hand-wrought. I do not use digital technology to alter my images in any way. As a result, my creativity is not bound by a machine. Custom orders/commissions are always welcome.
